Prepared for Teal Cafe · London Road, Sevenoaks

Help more people find their way to Teal Cafe.

Your website already gives people the essentials: your menu, opening hours and contact details. We'd like to make it easier for someone who finds you online to take the next step and visit.

We'd like to offer you a complimentary website redesign. We've put together four options using your menu, photos and colours. Choose the one you like and we'll build the finished website for you. There is no charge and no obligation.

What we noticed on your current website

The missing logo is the clearest issue. We also checked the visit links and homepage information. Below are the specific things we found and the changes we'd suggest.

  1. Your logo isn't displaying.

The logo image points to tealcafe.wpengine.com, where its address returns a 404. We'd put the logo on the website's current host and update the image links so it displays again.

  2. Two “Your Visit” links point to different places.

The link in the top menu works. The separate button beneath “Where We Are” on the homepage points to /your-visit, which showed a “Page not found” page when we checked. We'd make both links open the working visit page.

  3. The page addresses could be clearer.

The working visit page uses /afternoon-tea/, while afternoon tea is at /afternoon-tea-2/. Both pages open. We'd give them addresses that match their content and redirect the existing addresses so saved links still work.

  4. The homepage could have a more useful search summary.

Its title is “Teal Cafe”, and we didn't find a dedicated meta description in the homepage HTML. We'd add a clear title and short summary describing the cafe and its location. Search engines decide what they display in results.

  5. Your business details could be easier for search tools to interpret.

Your address and opening hours are visible on the website. We didn't find structured business markup in the homepage HTML we checked. We'd add it using details you've confirmed, alongside the information customers can already read.

  6. Your logo could identify the browser tab too.

We didn't find a custom tab icon declared in the homepage HTML. We'd add your logo so customers can recognise the site when they have several tabs open.

Why these small details matter

Someone planning a visit needs to recognise the cafe, read the menu and find the practical details. Restoring your logo and making the visit links consistent would make that experience clearer.

These checks don't tell us whether you've lost customers or revenue. Our proposal is to address the specific issues we've found and make the website easier to use.

Your complimentary website redesign

All four designs include the same work. You choose the look you prefer; we'll take care of the website and check the details with you before it goes live.

  1. Choose your favourite design

Open the four previews below and see which feels right for Teal Cafe. They're ready to view on your phone or computer.

  2. Check your menu and business details together

We've used the menu, photos, hours and contact details from your current website. We'll confirm they're up to date and make any changes you need. We can add menu prices if you'd like them shown.

  3. Restore your logo and tidy up the visit links

We'll host your logo with the website, use it in the browser tab and make both visit links open the right page. We'll also check the map and the other pages before launch. Your website will keep its existing address, tealcafe.co.uk.

  4. Make your information easier to find and understand

We'll give each page a clear title and description, add structured business details and include useful image descriptions. We'll check search-tool access separately; an automated tool being blocked doesn't establish that customers or search engines are blocked.

  5. Check the finished site and share the results

Once it's live, we'll run the audit again and send you a before-and-after report so you can see what's changed.

What that would mean for Teal Cafe

An easier route from browsing to visiting

Your menu, hours and directions would be presented together in a consistent design. Your logo would display properly, and both visit links would lead to the same working page.

Clearer information for Google and AI search

Accurate page titles, business details and accessible pages would help search tools understand what you offer and where you are. These changes support discovery; they don't guarantee a Google position or a mention in an AI answer.

How we'll check the finished website

Before launch, we'll check that the logo and other images load, the links reach the right pages, the map works and the menu and contact details are easy to use on a phone.

We'll also check page titles, descriptions and structured business information. Once the site is live, we'll run a fresh audit and share the results, making clear what was tested and any checks we couldn't complete.

A website score doesn't measure customers or revenue. We won't use a blocked automated request as evidence that your website is unavailable to visitors or absent from AI search.
