Our story
A locally-owned cafe that runs on Kent produce, home cooking and a proper cup of tea.
As a locally-owned business, we think it's really important that we produce fresh food, give back to our community and buy local. We source as much of our produce here in Kent as we can and do our very best to serve the freshest and tastiest food possible.
Whether you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, sit back, grab some lunch on the go or chase that caffeine kick, we'll do our very best to make sure you get the best and yummiest experience.

Our all day menu is served the whole time we are open. Gluten free bread is available for every sandwich and toastie.
Brunch, served all day
From the Totally Teal Breakfast to smashed avocado on sourdough.
Totally Teal Breakfast
1 sausage, 2 rashers of smoked back bacon, 2 fried eggs, hash brown, baked beans, steamed mushroom, baked half tomato and white or brown toast.
Kentish Breakfast
1 sausage, 1 rasher of smoked back bacon, 1 fried egg, hash brown, baked beans and white or brown toast.
Smashed Avocado
With pepper, chilli and onion, topped with crumbled feta and 2 poached eggs on sourdough, finished with watercress, toasted seeds, a balsamic drizzle and paprika oil.
Eggs Benedict
Teal roasted ham on an English muffin with 2 poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce.
Eggs Royale
Smoked salmon on an English muffin with 2 poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce.
Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Egg
On sourdough. Gluten free available on request.
Omelette
Choose two fillings: cheese, ham, onion, pepper, tomato, bacon or mushroom. Served with salad.
American Pancakes
A stack of four, with banana, whipped cream and maple flavour syrup, with streaky bacon, or with fruit compote.
Beetroot Hummus
Homemade beetroot hummus on sourdough with baby leaves, two poached eggs, beetroot crunch and a zing of Sriracha.
Breakfast Burger
Homemade 4oz steak burger, cheese, smoked streaky bacon, hash brown and a fried egg, with chips and beans.
Breakfast Wrap
Scrambled eggs, bacon, cheddar, feta, spinach and tomato with a sweet chilli sauce.
Crunchy Homemade Teal Granola
With yoghurt, fruit compote, seeds, almonds and dried fruit.
Just Eggs
Two eggs poached, fried or scrambled on sourdough toast.
Vegan Smashed Avocado
With pepper, chilli and onion, baked tomato, steamed mushroom, mixed greens and toasted seeds on sourdough.
Vegan Breakfast
2 vegan sausages, 2 hash browns, baked beans, steamed mushroom, baked tomato and toast.
Veggie Breakfast
Veggie sausage, 2 fried eggs, 2 hash browns, baked tomato, baked beans, steamed mushrooms and toast.
Gluten Aware Totally Teal
4 rashers of smoked back bacon, 2 fried eggs, beans, hash brown, baked half tomato, steamed mushroom and gluten free toast.
Vegan Pancakes

Served with tartare sauce.

Owlet apple, pear, apple and raspberry, apple and elderflower. San Pellegrino, still and sparkling water, Coke, Sprite and Red Bull.

Add a bottle of prosecco for special celebrations, £20. Book 24 hours ahead, minimum 2 people, with a £10 per person deposit. Please tell us about any dietary requirements when you book.

What are Teal Cafe's opening hours?
We're open Monday to Friday 8am to 2pm, Saturday 8am to 3pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. Our all day menu is served for the whole time we're open.

Teal Cafe is on London Road, Sevenoaks, Kent TN15 0DX, just off the A21 between Sevenoaks and the Tonbridge bypass.
Is there parking?
Yes. We have lots of parking space for cars and bikes.
Do you have vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options?
Yes. We serve a vegan breakfast, vegan smashed avocado, vegan pancakes, a veggie breakfast and a gluten aware Totally Teal breakfast. Gluten free bread is available for sandwiches and toasties.
How do I book afternoon tea?
Call us on 07306 050555 at least 24 hours ahead. Afternoon tea is £30 per person, for a minimum of 2 people, with a £10 per person deposit when you book. Please tell us about any dietary requirements at the same time.
Can I take afternoon tea away?
Yes. Afternoon tea is available to take away in our Teal tea caddies.
Do you have a children's menu?
Yes. Children can choose from pancakes, sausage and chips, chicken nuggets, a simple burger, ham egg and chips, or fish fingers and chips.
